In 2010 the Ormond Artists selected artists from institutions including Institution ofArt Design and Technology, National College of Art,Design and Dublin Institute of Technology and Crawford College of Art andDesign. The artists selected were offered a one month residency within Ormond Studios with a solo show to mark the end of the residency. The Ormond Studios offered full support towards the artists and offered advice regarding grant applications, exhibition applications, residencies, artists statements, presentation skills, and several other areas that an emerging artist may benefit from. Ormond Studios lent itself to the artists as a discoursive supportive space in which the artists were free to discuss, delevop and test new ideas. The Ormond Studios Graduate Programme commenced with the selection on the artists in June 2010, and the residencies and solo shows rolled out in late 2010 and early 2011.
