Ormond Member Ciara O’Hara’s solo exhibition Nowhere Here, Somewhere There opens Thursday October 11th 2012, 6pm – 8pm at Talbot Gallery & Studios.

Artist’s Talk and Light Experiment – To coincide with the exhibition, the artist will also be holding an artist’s talk at 6.30pm on Thursday 25th October: O’Hara will talk about her practice, the exhibition and also invite the public to engage in some experimentation with the medium of light with the help of DCU physicist Dr Patrick Casey.
Talbot Gallery Studios are delighted to present, Nowhere Here, Somewhere There, a new series of work by artist Ciara O’Hara. This work incorporates ideas of metamorphoses, dreams, power, and other-worldliness presented to the viewer with a sense of the uneasiness of the unknown, of the familiar becoming unfamiliar.
