Clare Lyons | Life in Still Life | OPW State Art Collection Touring Exhibition

Congrats to member Clare Lyons whose print ‘bouquet’ which is held in the OPW State Art Collection will be featuring in this year’s North South joint touring exhibition with OPW and Department of Finance, Belfast (DoF) which is focusing on the theme of Still Life. It is entitled ‘Life in Still Life’ and has been curated by a group of 5 art educators from Northern Ireland who belong to the Association of Art & Design Education.

The first leg of the touring exhibition opens next Thursday in the Burnavon in Tyrone! Keep your eyes peeled for updates on this exhibition as it travels the country!

Ormond Art Studios is an artist-led initiative in Dublin city and is a platform for emerging visual artists. It supports the development of arts practice through affordable studio provision, critical discourse and space for events, residencies and exhibitions. The physical studios consists of eight individual artist's spaces along with a separate area that serves as the Project Space. The Project Space offers scope for work on a larger scale, embodied practice and experimentation. It is in this space that feedback sessions, events and exhibitions happen.
